Overland Development Company (Overland) is a privately held real estate development company with multiple projects throughout Inland Southern California.  During their first three years Overland has formed $455M in upcoming real estate deals from mixed-use, multi-family, hospitality and commercial, retail and office.  Overland project portfolio includes private development to public/private partnerships with public entities.

In addition to Overland's development endeavors, the firm has decades of consulting work experience for other businesses. Through Overland's expertise in consultation, it has recognized the demand from companies that do not have the resources to manage a full-time internal development team to manage expansion or relocation. This process requires more than just a brokerage service; identifying the right area, determining if the building fits the operation, local jurisdiction, lease or purchase terms negotiations, and construction/TI management.

Simultaneously investors look for opportunities where cash flow is stable with 'name brand' companies as tenants. Investors aren't developers and thus often seek firms with expertise to present investment opportunities clearly and concisely.

Overland provides expertise in all development stages, including filtering the right locations and buildings, the design and planning process, navigating the permitting and approval process, and development management. This expertise creates a package that provides clients with the experience of an in-house development branch without unnecessary time and financial expenditures that accompany managing such a team.

ABOUT ANDREW WALCKER

Andrew Walcker was born, educated and started his professional career in Riverside. After graduating Loma Linda University with a dual major in Pre-Dental and Business, he had an opportunity to work in a local civil engineering office and as the old adage goes, the rest is history. When Andrew was 30, he founded IW Consulting Engineers, which specialized in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Aerial Photogrammetry. He grew the firm to over 30 employees with annual sales of $3.5M before selling it 15 years later to Psomas, a national company. Andrew was the Vice President for Psomas’ Inland Southern California office and grew that office while he was there through 2017.

During his years in the engineering world, Andrew found that his passion and curiosity shifted into doing more than engineering and he founded Overland Development Company (Overland) in 2017. Overland is a privately held real estate development company with multiple projects throughout Inland Southern California. During their first three years Overland has formed $455M in upcoming real estate deals from mixed-use, multi-family, hospitality and commercial, retail and office. Overland project portfolio includes private development to public/private partnerships with public entities.

THE OVERLAND TEAM

Collin has always been interested in business and business law. As a Riverside local, he had multiple experiences working for governmental and business communities including Senator Richard Roth, the Riverside Chamber of Commerce, and local attorneys. These combined experiences encouraged the pursuit of a degree in Business Economics from the University of California Los Angeles. These experiences also introduced him to the developmental industry, where he was able to observe the combination of working and communicating between various agencies to build something that would one day be physical within a community. His Project Management role at Overland includes working between the client and developments, where he manages communications, project tracking, process integrity, and timelines. He loves building relationships and getting to work between experts in the various industries associated with the developmental process. He enjoys reading and outdoor activities, including cycling, mountain bike riding, backpacking, and hiking.

Josue is a project manager at Overland. He received an MBA from La Sierra University and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Finance from Georgetown University. Originally driven by a passion for real estate from a young age, he was introduced to the development industry through fellow La Sierra alumni and CEO of Overland Development, Andrew Walcker. During his time at La Sierra he was the La Sierra University Student Athletic Advisory Committee President, the L.U.N.A. Financial VP, and a 3-year University Collegiate Men’s Soccer captain. These roles and experiences taught him much about strategy, planning, and collaboration. Currently at Georgetown he participates in the Graduate Investment Fund, managing a multi million dollar endowment. In his work at Overland, he contributes his unique financial perspective. He most enjoys the unique scope and process of managing development projects along with developing client relationships and seeing projects through to completion. In his personal time, he enjoys investing - managing a fund with a partner, playing soccer, and reading inspirational books on entrepreneurship and business motivation.
